: [Re]gister[ed]-Number-[De]finition?

Your Registered number ID is the number assigned to your mailing of your Claim from yourself to yourself. This number typically goes on your Registered mail FORM portion that you take home and also the receipt. Check that it’s the same number on your mailing is the same as the one on the Registered mail FORM portion receipt before leaving the post office. The Post Office computer should print this same number on your Registered mail form-receipt AND YOU ALWAYS NEED TO HAVE IT BULLET STAMPED by the attendant. This number is also your vessel number and will be used on your Claim of the Life. Begin to familiarize yourself with this number as you will use it on future contracts.
